Pro Clima Tescon Vana is a versatile, highly adhesive airtightness tape for sealing laps, penetrations, and connections in vapour control and airtightness membranes. This 60mm wide x 30m roll is ideal for standard sealing applications on timber, concrete, and masonry substrates.
A Professional-Grade Tape Built for Site Conditions
Tescon Vana is designed for contractors who need an airtightness tape that performs consistently across a wide variety of substrates and conditions. With an acrylic adhesive bonded to a tough polyester backing, the tape grips firmly to timber panels, concrete, metals, and plastics, holding its bond through seasonal movement, temperature extremes, and the rigours of day-to-day construction work. Once applied, the bond continues to strengthen over the first 24 hours, reaching full holding power without the need for any additional fixings.
Where It's Used
Tescon Vana is a versatile tape that covers a broad range of sealing tasks on site, including:
- Lapping and sealing overlaps in vapour control and airtightness membranes, including Proclima Intello Plus
- Forming airtight connections around window and door frames in roof and wall build-ups
- Sealing membrane edges to structural elements such as rafters, beams, and timber panels
- Sealing butt joints between OSB, MDF, and other wood-based sub-roof or wall panels
- Used in combination with Proclima grommets and collars when sealing around pipe and cable penetrations

Application Notes
Substrates should be dry, dust-free, and free from grease or silicone before applying. On porous or absorbent surfaces such as old timber or rough masonry, use Tescon Primer RP beforehand to ensure maximum adhesion. Apply the tape centrally over the overlap or junction, unroll section by section, and press firmly using a seam roller for best results. The tape can be used with Proclima Roflex and Kaflex collars for a fully sealed penetration detail.

Tescon Vana is designed to be used alongside other Proclima products as part of a complete, certified airtightness system. Paired with Intello Plus membrane and Orcon F joint adhesive, it provides all-round coverage for every junction type — including difficult junctions where tape alone isn't the right tool.
